Why would I ride 200 miles over 2 days in the blazing summer heat of Virginia? The fun of it (possibly), the camaraderie (definitely), the mission (most importantly)! I will be riding in my 3rd of 3 annual JOA rides, with some of the greatest folks you could ever meet. The reason this ride attracts so many great people to such a grueling endeavor is the Cause; The Charlottesville Abundant Life Mission (CALM). CALM is one of those groups that make living in Charlottesville such a blessing. It is neighbors helping neighbors become the people God meant us to be. Building his Kingdom here in our community.
The 3rd Annual Journey of Awesomeness is a 2-day, 200-mile trek from the beautiful city of Charlottesville, VA to Yorktown, VA. All funds raised benefit Charlottesville Abundant Life Ministries, an awesome organization doing awesome things in Charlottesville - more information about CALM can be found here. Last year, we raised over $60,000 and we're excited and grateful for the opportunity to do it again in 2017!
