Abundant Life's 2nd Annual Abundant Madness

Abundant Madness is an all-day watch party featuring food, drinks, and 36 raffle drawings on day one of the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament. Experience all the action surrounded by fans as excited as you are while using your basketball knowledge (or just straight luck) to pick game winners and earn prizes. All funds raised through the event will support Abundant Life.

How it Works: This event will involve food, drinks, and a raffle for every game that you enter in by correctly guessing the winner. There will be two raffle drawings for each of the 16 games played and four grand prize raffle drawings throughout the event. Each participant in the event will be given a certain amount of raffle tickets, depending on the ticket level purchased, and they will selectively use their raffle tickets to pick who they think will win a certain basketball game. For example, if UVA plays Florida Gulf Coast in the first round and you think UVA will win the game, you may place your raffle ticket(s) in the UVA basket. If UVA wins, there will be a raffle drawing out of everyone who picked UVA, and the winner will receive a gift card or gift basket from a local Charlottesville business. All of the winning tickets (those who picked UVA) will then be entered into the grand prize drawing. This will happen for all 16 games that day. Additional raffle tickets will be available for purchase for $3 each.

Individual Game Prizes: There will be 32 individual game prizes, two for each game played on March 19. Two prize winners will be chosen by a raffle of people who correctly picked the winner of each individual game. There is no limit to how many raffle tickets can be placed in each raffle per person. You are eligible to win more than one individual game raffle, as well as to win both individual game raffles and a grand prize. Individual raffle prizes will have an average retail value of $50.

Grand Prizes: There will be four separate grand prize drawings, with four different winners. You are eligible to win an individual game prize and a grand prize, but you are only eligible to win one grand prize. Grand prize drawings will be taken from the pool of all “winning tickets” throughout the day, i.e. those placed on winning teams. The grand prizes are:

• 4 UVA men's courtside tickets and ball boy experience
• Basketball signed by UVA men's coach Tony Bennett
• 2 Night Stay at a Charlottesville vacation home
• 2 Night Stay at the Hampton Inn Seminole Square

Ticket Prices: There are 3 different ticket packages available.  All 3 ticket packages include entry to the event, hors d’oeuvres, and raffle tickets. The event is all day, so re-entry is welcomed! Please come and go as you please.

$21 ticket: Entry, hors d’oeuvres, and 2 raffle tickets

$31 ticket: Entry, hors d’oeuvres, 5 raffle tickets, and 1 drink ticket

$41 ticket: Entry, hors d’oeuvres, 8 raffle tickets, and 2 drink tickets

Drinks: Beer, Wine, and Soda will be available for purchase with drink tickets or cash. Water will be provided for free.
